De Marchi Kübler and Koblet Jerseys

De Marchi Koblet and Kubler Jersey

One of the world’s oldest cycling apparel brands, family-owned De Marchi, continue the tradition they established in the 40s by dressing professional cyclists during their most stylish era. The De Marchi Heritage Store have just released limited edition jerseys of Ferdi Kübler and Hugo Koblet, Swiss winners of the 1950 and 1951 Tour de France.

Koblet, or ‘Beautiful Hugo’, as he was also known, was not only a winner of La Grande Boucle, but also the 1950 Giro d’Italia and numerous six-day and pursuit events. Ferdinand ‘The Cowboy’ Kübler won the 1950 Tour de France, 1953’s Bordeaux–Paris, Liège–Bastogne–Liège twice and La Flèche Wallonne twice. At 94, he’s the oldest living Tour de France winner.

De Marchi celebrate the two Swiss winners with authentic reproductions of their jerseys, limited to 200 pieces worldwide. They are constructed with pride in Italy from 100% merino wool, with a classic shirt collar and 5 pockets with genuine mother-of-pearl buttons. They are presented in a special gift box with an exclusive, hand painted, die-cast figure of each of the two legendary racers.
