CycleCraft is one of the lesser known marques of the Golden Era of Bicycle Motocross, but one that has still garnered a substantial cult following. The first year of production was 1984, which continued to about 1988. After a 10 year hiatus, CycleCraft Bicycle Company is back under a new management team, updated geometries and all of the passion and innovation the brand was established upon.
There’s obviously a strong BMX heritage behind the pages of London’s 44/16 blog, this is the editor’s project build, and is also an excursion into his past racing as a junior. Built with an all-white schematic, there’ll be no ghost bike references here. It’s a straight-up race machine, running S&M’s XLT Race fork, CycleCraft’s legendary Fred’z bars, a Profile drive train with hubs laced to Sun‘s Envy rims.
