Velo City: Bicycle Culture and City Life

Speedvagen is a bespoke bicycle manufacturer based in Portland, Oregon, that was founded in 2007 by Sacha White. The brand originated as the race bike offset of White’s respected custom bike brand, Vanilla Bicycles.

With a background in competitive cycling, founder Sacha White understands the importance of building bikes to fit the rider. Speedvagen bikes are handcrafted using high-end materials and components, and are designed with both aesthetics and function in mind. Each bike is built from scratch, with the frame, fork, and other components all designed and fabricated in-house.

Speedvagen offers options for different frame materials, geometries, and component specifications. The company also has a range of custom paint options, allowing riders to personalize their bike with unique designs and color schemes.

Speedvagen bikes are now available in a range of styles, including road bikes, cyclocross bikes, and gravel bikes. The workshop also offers other services such as frame repairs, custom components, and apparel, and sponsors a cyclocross racing team.
