Mosaic Cycles builds handcrafted titanium and steel bicycles in small batches in Boulder, Colorado.
Founded by Aaron Barchek, the family-based company focuses on precise fabrication and immaculate welding. Their titanium frames have minimalist styling and often use oversized butted tubing — offering the stiffness of top-shelf carbon, or the compliant feel of an endurance bike.
Mosaic works with a small number of dealers, and their bikes are often built with custom geometry to suit the rider — particularly the road-going RT-1 and the gravel-grinding GT-1.
Can you picture yourself riding this spectacular titanium ‘crosser? Boulder’s Mosaic Cycles are raffling one of their award-winning XT-1 bikes to the winner, with 100% of the proceeds deservedly going to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The 2017 NAHBS has drawn to a close, leaving a wake of incredibly beautiful bicycles in it’s wake. Our heads are still reeling from the variety of bikes displayed, including this Mosaic RT-1D, put together by Illinois’ Velosmith for SRAM’s show booth.
