The June Solstice is approaching, marking the longest day in the northern hemisphere and the shortest in the south. This year it will also mark the second Swift Campout ride.
The 2015 event was hugely popular, and as a result, was voted Best New Event by bikepacking.com. So it’s on again, with some big plans.

Hailed as ‘Best New Event’ in bikepacking.com’s 2015 Bikepacking Awards, Swift Campout energizes adventure cyclists worldwide to go bike-camping to on the solstice.
Swift Campout is a decentralized event and is self-initiated, and it is free to participate! The first-year event gained international attention and mapped over 600 campouts around the world, from China to Tennessee.
Swift Industries will be hosting the event at builtbyswift.com/swiftcampout, where campers can sign up to share their profiles, drop a pin on the global map, tell stories and connect with local Swift Campers in their area.

• A linked campground and landshare search tool hosted by Hipcamp.com
• Enhanced connectivity between user profiles to link up and go bike-camping
This year, Swift Industries is working with Collaborative Partners and Sidekicks: companies whose products or services enhance and inspire the experiences of being in the great outdoors. Each company is contributing prizes for give-aways and registration automatically enters Swift Campers to win incredible gear from independent brands.
