Speedvagen’s OG line has been a steady source of creativity for the Portland workshop since they were first released. The latest iteration blends Chris King Bourbon into a limited edition series for 2020.
The OG is a stock model that enables you to become the proud owner of a Portland Unicorn and the attention to detail that comes with it, without the lead time and additional expense that going full custom has.
Over the years, we’ve seen the race-ready OG1, the timeless OG CLassic, and a Rim-Brake OG. 2020 will be heralded by a Limited Edition OG that features Chris King’s new Bourbon-flavoured product range.
Only eight complete bikes will be made available — all with a King Bourbon headset, T47 bottom bracket (which will be a standard feature on the OG frames from now on), and R45D hubs, laced to the new HED Belgium Plus Eroica Rims.
The rest of the kit includes an upgradeable Ultegra groupset, ENVE fork and seat post, Vittoria rubber, a Fabric Scoop, PRO handlebar and custom painted matching stem, and a Bourbon Spur Cycles bell.
A USD$500 deposit secures the deal, with a total bill of US$7,250.00. The frames are available in 52-58cm sizes and a choice of Mustard, Sage, or Oxblood. This definitely has to be one of our favorite OG combinations. Snooze, you lose.
