Kumo Signature Finish All-Roader

Kumo Signature Finish All-Roader

Kumo Cycles’s Keith Marshall will be significant presence at this weekend’s Pushies Galore show in Brisbane. He recently instigated a ‘Signature Finish’ line, which allows him a carte blanche when it comes to frame design and fabrication. This all-roader is the first example of Keith’s new portfolio.

The proviso for a Signature Finish is only that Keith is given free reign to create the ultimate custom bike that’s unique to the customer and their requirements — whether it’s a road bike, all-roader, tourer or travel bike. The package includes sculpted lugs with carved and milled details, pantographing, custom stem top cap and bar ends, and a personalized plaque on the seat tube.

The paint is carried out by the legendary Joe Cosgrove of Queensland’s Cycle Design. Joe has extensively worked with Darrell ‘Llewellyn’ McCulloch, winning `Best Paint in Show’ at the 2010 NAHBS. Joe finished Keith’s all-roader in British Racing Green with gold highlights — the whole show finished off with a custom saddle and bar tape by Melbourne’s Busyman Bicycles.

The bike got a shakedown at last weekend’s Melburn Roobaix, and apparently the new owner couldn’t wipe the grin off his face. Contact Keith at Kumo Cycles to enquire about a Signature Finish of your own. Special thanks to Andy Rogers of Fame & Spear Photography for the shots.
