Jenna Meth is a Calgary, Alberta, rider who is somewhat of a local legend. Recently, she submitted a report from a trip to Gerona to the Ride With GPS website for a competition and won the Grand Prize — a Breadwinner Cycles B-Road.
Needless to say, Jenna was over the moon with her win and with being the beneficiary of a full custom frame by two of the most highly respected frame builders in the business: Ira Ryan and Tony Pereira.
The B-Road is Breadwinner’s Columbus-tubed gravel racer, and Jenna was the perfect candidate to receive one. She was already exploring back roads around Calgary on a bike that’s probably gathering dust as she’s now fallen for an adventurous Portlandian.
Just so the original bike wasn’t entirely forgotten, she wrapped the Easton EA70 bars in the same type of tape the previous one had: Manual for Speed’s Reach For The Dreams Space Tape — one of the most fun rolls of tape available.
Jenna’s a keen photographer and MASH SF’s Zeiss Lens Cap & Spacer made their way onto the steerer tube too. A natural born accessorizer, she’s proud to support homegrown cycling brands, like Ten Speed Hero and San Francisco’s Ornot.
Somehow, she managed to coordinate her entire schematic with the intense blue skies that she rides underneath. Even the B-Road’s paint scheme seems to blend in. These photos were expertly taken by Jeremy Nathan of Life Is A Beautiful Detail.
Jenna’s helped start the grassroots group Bikes On Wheels Women. She only discovered her passion for cycling three years ago but she’s racked up 10,000kms this year already and doesn’t show any sign of slowing up — especially now she’s riding a Breadwinner.
