Ichico Indy Fab Cyclocross

Ichico Indy Fab Cyclocross

I was getting a few inquiries from the mountain-bike fraternity as to why The Spoken seemed to focus on ultra clean, studio shot images. Today’s post should restore the balance, this is Ichico’s Independent Fabrication, fresh from battle in the GP Mistral, Japan’s cyclocross stage series.

This particular edition was fought in what appeared to be a swamp, and I’m still trying to ascertain whether Ichico’s derailleur was intentionally removed or not. Regardless, his photography should speak to those who race cyclocross and can relate to the pleasure of off-road cycling. It’s also interesting to note, while we tick away the final moments of 2010, that an Independent Fabrication cyclocross bike was The Spoken’s first ever post. The Critical Dirt team machine was shot in a studio situation and we’re reminded of the cyclical nature of the calendar by rounding out the year with Ichico’s mud-coated Indy Fab.
