You’ve seen them on the hands of the Fausto Coppi, Eddy Merckx and most of the world’s most stylish road cyclists. The knitted mesh cycling glove is still one of the most comfortable and functional hand coverings designed for distance riding. Montreal’s Galtani Cycling Accoutrements have resurrected them for the modern rider.
Our friends at Biascagne Cicli just photographed the entire range of Galtani gloves in situ, as though we were enjoying an espresso at Bar Coluzzi after an early century, poring over the 1951 Giro d’Italia editions of La Gazzetta dello Sport and discussing the battle between Magni and Kübler. Could Il Campionissimo claw back from a dismal 4th position?
There are color combinations to suit all nations and styles. The Colnago, Pinarello and Bianchi riders will choose the Italian Tricolore, World Champions are well represented, as are the Classic racers and the French. Of course, any bike will complement the natural cotton and honey leather model and the all black version will match the stealth Cannondale CAAD10.
Make your selection on the Galtani Cycling Accoutrements website.
